To his Excellency Wm King
Sir, In negotiating the treaty with the indians at Bangor on the 15th instant I have expended $286.60 and have rec'd from the Treasurer or this State $230. Will your Excellency be pleased to draw your warrant on the treasurer for fifty dollars in part of what I have advanced and when the Legislature meets they can then adjust the whole amt.
