I have to day found Benjamin F. Trask of Leed Me who Enlisted in Capt Norris Company at Monmouth - That Company was Disbanded before it had been assigned to any [inserted] Regiment - Mr Trask afterwards Enlisted in Co G 1st Maine Cavalry and was sworn in. he was afterwards Examined by the Surgeon and told that they would not accept of him and he could come home - I have ordered Mr Trask to report to you immediately at Augusta
