� I Joseph Beal on oath say and declare that I have no real nor personal estate nor any income whatever my necessary bedding and wearing apparel excepted, except
I have one child under age one female, aged 19 years, used at [?], my wife is infirm and unable to labor. I had the misfortune to break my thigh on the 19th of Apr 1820 - of which I was confined to my bed more than twelve months during which confinement I break my other thigh and in my bed with both and have not been out of my room till this day.
