I had heard attendants observe before that it was a common occurrence for themselves to use the men in that way, and I didn't pay any attention to it. Q. Using the men in what way? carrying them into the lodge? A. Yes, that is what I meant, By Dr. Butler: Q. Did you mean to say further that it was a common occurrence for them to carry them in in that forcible way and injure them? Was not that what you said to me? A. Yes, that is what I mean.
