I learn that John Polley the present Indian Agent of the Passamaquoddy tribe, declines to act any longer in that capacity that Geo H Bracomen is an applicant for the place.  Mr. Bracomen would make an excellent officer, well qualified any way.  Hope he may receive the appointment.
