[Committee - on subject of passing a general fish law]
On motion of Mr Burr, Ordered, that the committee on interior fisheries be instructed to take into consideration the expediency of passing a general law for the preservation of fish in the several bays, rivers & streams, within this State, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read and passed.

George W Wallingford Esq of Kennebunk appeared, was qualified and took his seat as a member of this House.

Petitions of Samuel Sweetland & others, that a part of Waldoboro may be annexed to Friendship - of the Selectmen of Ligonia that said town may [be] restored to its original limits - of Joseph Lawrence that certain lands may be annexed to Jay

Sent up for concurrence.
