The House reesumed the consideration of Mr Clapps motion of Saturday last for a reconsideration of the vote passing to be engrossed the Resolves ratifying and confirming the agreement between the Commissioners of Massachusetts and Maine for the purchase of lands lying in this state belonging to Masstts - which motion after an able and animated discussion of the subject, was decided in the negative 44 pro. 63. con.
