12 [1825 January 6] Afternoon [Committee on Printing] Order of the House that Messrs. Shaw, Hatch, Abbot, White and Ford, with such as the Senate may join, be a committee to consider the subject of the printing for the State, for the ensuing political year, came up for concurrence, was read and concurred and Messrs. Parsons of Lincoln, Prime and Whitney were joined.

[Committee to wait on the Governor &c] On motion of Mr. Dunlap, Ordered that Messrs. Dunlap and Parsons of Lincoln, with such as the House may join, be a Committee to wait on the Governor and inform him that the Legislature are proceeding upon the public business of the State, and are ready to receive any communication he may be pleased to make to them. Sent down for concurrence, was concurred and Messrs. Boutelle, Blaney and Woodbury were joined.

[Report on the Votes for Senators] Mr. Green from the Committee to whom were referred the Returns of Votes given for Senators in the Several Counties, reported that in the County of York, the whole number of votes given and returned agreeably to the provisions of the [York] Constitution is [--] 15,141 necessary to constitute an election [--] 2,524 Joseph Prime Esq. has 3,263 George Scamman Esq. has 2,871 John U. Parsons Esq. has 2,866 and are chosen. [Cumberland] In the county of Cumberland the whole number of votes is 10,803 Necessary to constitute an election [--] 1,802 Robert P.
