Report on petition of Samuel Sweetland & others for the annexation of a part of Waldoboro to Friendship, granting leave for a bill, came down accepted for concurrence - and the House referred the subject to the next Legislature - Sent up for concurrence.

To the Senate & House of representatives Having accepted the resignation of James M Lellan Esq, as Major General of the 4th Division of the militia of this State, I make known to the two branches of the Legislature that the office of Major General of said 4th Division is now vacant.
