Agreeably to notice given, Mr Hammond moved a reconsideration of the vote passing the Resolve relating to the location of the Courts in the County of York, which motion prevailed - The Resolve was then amended at P. and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Brig Gen' Dwelly Turner elected Maj General on part of House]

Agreeably to assigned the House proceeded on their part to the choice of a Major General for the 4th Division of the militia of this State - the whole number of votes given was 118 - necessary to a choice 60 - Brig.General Dwelly Turner, having 117 was declared chosen on the part of the House in concurrence with the Senate. The Clerk was charged with a message to acquaint the Senate therewith.
