On motion by Mr Green, Ordered, that the Committee in the Judiciary be instructed to inquire into the expediency of establishing Salaries to the Clerks of Courts and Registers of Probate in the several Counties in this State: and of establishing the fees in said officers, where they are not already established by Law; also to consider the expediency of exempting all estates from Probate fees, whose Inventory shall not exceed the sum of Dollars. with leave to report by Bill or otherwise.
