[Tennessee Resolutions -]

of Tennessee on the subject of nominating Candidates for the office of President & Vice President of the United States, & instructing their Senators and requesting their Representatives in Congress, to use their best exertions to prevent such nomination being made by members thereof in Caucus, during the present session, to Messrs Chandler & Anderson with such as the House may join - and the House concurred & Messrs Isaac Adams, Quinnam & Hill were joined.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the Governors message as relates to the statements of the Administrator of Joseph C Boyd late Treasurer of the State with the accompanying papers & also the annual report of the Commissioner of the Treasury, to Messrs Dennet & Fairbanks with such as the House may join - and the House concurred and Messrs Pond, Haskell & Parsons of New Gloucester were joined.

[Courts martial -]

Ordered, that the committee on the Militia & military affairs be instructed to take into consideration the expediency of amending the law regulating Courts Martial, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - Read & passed. Sent up for concurrence.
