[Lands to aid in support of Schools -]

belonging to this State for the purpose of aiding in the support of Schools in those towns which have not received any benefit from lands granted by Massachusetts, reported a reference of the subject to the Committee on so much of the Governors message as relates to Literature & Literary Institutions. Sent up for concurrence.

[Secretary of State to furnish expenses of State printing last year]

Ordered that the Secretary of State furnish the House with an account of the expenses of the printing done for the State for the last political year - read and passed.

[Resolve - Thurston Card -]

Resolve from the Senate in favor of Thurston Card, read once and Monday next at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.

Bill to incorporate the Trustees of the funds of the 1st Baptist Society in Surry, was read 1st & 2d time, and monday morning next at 11 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Petitions]

Petitions - of Hollis for a toll on Smiths Ferry Bridge - of Zenas Paine & al in Behalf of Buxton - came down referred to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges & Canals for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Report - China Academy]

Report on petition of Trustees of China Academy referring the subject to the committee on Literature & Literary Institutions came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
