Reports on petition of Inhabitants of Montville - on petition of Samuel Small & als Remonstrance of Harrington - granting leave to withdraw; came from the Senate accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Ordered that the committee on Finance be directed to consider & report what sum it is necessary to raise the present year by way of a State tax. - read & passed.
