Ordered that the Senate be requested to send to this House the petition of Henry Babb presented at the last session & now on the files - read & passed.

[Petition - Simon Remick]

Petition of Simon Remick for leave to change his name - was read & referred to the committee on change of names.

[Bill - Beethoven Musc. Society]

Bill to incorporate the Beethoven Musical Society, was read a 1st & 2nd time & tomorrow at 10 o'clock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Remonstrance -]

Remonstrance of Phillip Page & al against the petition of Phillip Eastman & al, was read & referred to committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to Literature. Sent up for concurrence.

Bill to incorporate the town of Kilmarnock, was read 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.
