[Report - on conduct of Door Keeper]

Mr Parsons from the committee to enquire into the doings of the Door Keeper &c, made a verbal report that certain hand bills from the Office of the Statesman, which were given him to distribute among the members had been placed away in an obscure part of one of the lobbies, so that they might not be received by the members - report accepted.

[Bill - Bar, Mill bridge]

Bill additional to the act incorporating the Bar Mill bridge proprietors, was read a 1st & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Resolve - Matinicus]

Resolve providing for the appointment of Agents to give deeds to owners & possessors of lands on the Island of Matinicus, was read a 1st time & tomorrow assigned for a 2d reading

[Resolve - favor of Joseph Griffin]

Resolve in favor of Joseph Griffin, was read once & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 2d reading.

[Resolve - correct Valuation]

Resolve to correct the State Valuation, was read & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Senate say they have not the papers respecting Court of sessions]

A message was received from the Senate informing this House in answer to their message, that they have not in their possession any Bill, report or other papers respecting the abolition of the Court of Sessions.

[Senate again requested to send down above papers.]

Ordered that the Senate be requested to send to this House the Bill entitled, "An act in addition to an act to establish a Court of Sessions - read and passed. Sent up.
