a part of our armey [army] made a forward movement last night and took possession of Mansons[?] Hill The Rebbels fled without giving Battle. Thare wer ten thousand of them encamped thare about the same number of our troops are thare now and our pickets extend to Falls Church. Some of our Boys have been out thare today erecting tellegraphs.
