On motion of Mr. Rowell of Jefferson Ordered That the Senate be requested to take from their files, the petition of the Proprietors of the Dameriscotta [Damariscotta] Canal Corporation, praying for aid by the grant of a Lottery presented to the last, and referred to the present Legislature and send the same to this House - read & passed. Sent up.

The Annual Report of the Treasurer of State addressed to the President of the Senate and Speaker of the House, came down referred in Senate to Messrs Hilton & Parsons with such as the House may join - The House concurred and Messrs Adams of Portland, Hyde of Bath and Goodwin of Elliot were joined
