324 Saturday, March 21, 1835

On motion of Mr Purinton, The Senate reconsider their vote of yesterday whereby they adhered to their former passing to be engrossed the "Bill additional regulating elections," and insist on their vote passing said Bill to be engrossed; and propose a Conference, and appoint as Conferees, Messrs, Purinton, Chandler and F. Greene.

Sent down for concurrence, Concurred, and the House appoint as Conferees, on their part, Messrs, Parris, Dumont and Lane
Mr Purinton moved to reconsider the vote of yesterday whereby the Senate refused a passage to Resolve in favor of Hall Clements; and the question of reconsidering being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, on motion of Mr Emmons was decided in the affirmative, as follows, to wit;

Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Bartlett, Burnham, Fish Latham, Mantor, Miller, McIntire, Prescott and Fish Latham, Mantor, Miller, McIntire, Prescott and Tobin 10. Nays. Messrs Barnard, Clark, Emmons, Farnham F Greene, McLellan, Pierce, Randall, and Smith 9. And the question of finally passing the same. being ordered to be taken by yeas and nays, on motion of Mr Barnard, was decided in the affirmative as follows, to wit: Yeas. Messrs. Allen, Bartlett, Brown, Burnham, Fish, Latham, Mantor, Miller, McIntire, Smith and Tobin 11 Nays. Messrs Barnard, Clark, Emmons, Farnham, F Greene. McLellan, Pierce and Randall, 8

Bill to increase the Capital Stock of the Maine Bank, came up - the House, insisting on their vote passing the same to be engrossed, propose a Conference, and appoint as Conferees, on their part
