Allow me to thank you for your in- teresting letters of this 29th ult
I think I had some written at a previous date to acknowledge all of which I do with pleasure. I will state that your attentions in
the above particular have not
been received ungratefully----.
We have been shifting
round so much that I have not had much time to write.
Since my last I have
been with my Co. to Sea- brook where we stopped
