Petition of Edward Smith and others for a Rail Road from Pushaw Pond to Bangor Oldtown Railway; also a Railway from Piscataquis River to Dead River to construct dams on said Rivers -- read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canals, in concurrence.
Remonstrance of Benjamin Grover and others against the petition of Benjamin Holbrook and others praying to set off a part of Starks to Mercer -- read and referred to the Committee on Division of Towns, in concurrence.
The Committee on Engrossed Bills reported as correctly engrossed Bill to incorporate the Proprietors of the Forest Grove Cemetery, and said Bill was, on motion of Mr. Emmons, ordered to lie on the table.
The same Committee reported as correctly engrossed Resolve relating to a Rail Road from som point on the Seaboard, or connected with the Seaboard by navigable waters to Quebec, and the same was, on motion of Mr. Chandler, ordered to lie on the table.
