            It is with pleasure

that I seat myself at this time to answer your kind letter which came safe to hand to night and I was very glad to hear that you wer all well my health is better now than it was when I wrote last and am inhopes it will remain so I will say to you that I have got my box at last all safe I had to send to Washington after it and there it was and would have staid there untill doomes day if I had not sent for it and it cost me 50cts to get it and supp osed you had to pay 25cts to get it to Portland so that it cost as much as it would
