Mr.[?] Allen Gray - Co. I. Me. 10th with a furlough dated July 23 extending 30 days. It is signed by order of Maj. M. Scott, Provost-Marshal Hagerstown Md. - Capt. W. J. Byrnes Dep. Prov. Marsl.[?] He goes to his reg't this week.

Capt. Royall F. Nash - Gray Co. H. 11th has returned to his reg't.

Dan.[?] M. Dill of Gray, & his brother William, of Co. H. 11th were both taken prisoners in one of the battles before Richmond & have not been heard from since.

Benj. F. Goodwin - Cornish - Co. K. 9th reg't - reported by you, "Prisoner at Raleigh," is paroled & I found him at work in a stable at Baldwin - I ordered him to report at Augusta, & he has promised to go next Monday.

Albert W. Murch - Bridgton - Co. I. 10th Me. Discharged at Baltimore by command of Maj. Gen. Dix - D. T. Van Buren - A. A. G. May 14th 1862
