of Cavalry. If your Excellency will be kind enough to direct the proper Department to send all necessary receipts to Mr. B. so that he may draw it for the use of my wife, I shall esteem it a very great favor. I expected to have visited Maine & drawn it myself- but, since my liberation I have not had time & my wife now needs the money.
I join my Regiment at once- returning with received ardor to the service of my county, & of my adopted State.
