I, [Elsen Poer?] Clerk of the[ Circuit-crossed out] Court of the Common Pleas [for said Circuit-crossed out] within & for the counth of Hancock-do hereby certify, that the foregoing oath, and the schedules thereto an-nexed, are truly copied from the Record of the said Court ; and I do further certify, that it is the opinion of the said Court that the total amount in value of the property exhibited in the aforesaid schedule is, twenty five dollars and - cents.  IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of the said Court, on this nineteenth day of of March A.D. one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

Hancock ss....At a [Circuit- crossed out] Court of Common Pleas for the Plounty [Eastern Circuit- crossed out], begun and holden at Castine within and for the County of Hancock on the third Tuesday being the eighteenth day of March and by adjournment thereof from day to day, on the nineteenth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty, three before the Honorable David Perham Judge of said Court. On this nineteenth day of March in the year 1823, personally appeared in open Court adjoined the same proceeding according to the course of the common law, having jurisdiction unlimited in amount, keeping a record of their proceedings, and having "the power of fjne and imprisonment," and being a Court of Record for said County who being first duly sworn according to law, doth on his oath declare that he served in the Revolu-tionary War as follows, viz, as a private in the company commanded by Capt. Morrill in the Regiment commanded by Colonel John Har[k?] in the line of the State of New Hampshire on the Continental Establishment, as is more particularly mentioned and described in his original declaration, made on the fourth day of April A.D. 1818, and on which said declaration his Certificate of Pension, numbered 12686 was granted. And I do solemnly swear that I was a resident citizen of the United States on the 18th day of March, 1818: and that I have not since that time by gift, sale, or in any manner disposed of my property, or any part thereof, with intent thereby so to diminish it as to bring myself within the provisions of an Act of Congress, entitled "An Act to provide certain persons engaged in the land and naval service of the United States, in the Revolutionary War," passed on the 18th day of March, 1818: and that I have not, nor has any person in trust for me, any property or securities, contracts, or debts due to me; nor have I any income other than what is con-tained in the schedule hereunto annexed, and by me subscribed; that my occupation and ability to pursue the same , together with the number and particulars of my family, are in fact and in truth as is herein particularly descibed, also subscribed by me.
