Fort Fairfield Septr 14 1839
Henry C Harrey passed up this day with a load of provisions to wit 10 bbls of pork and ten barrells [barrels] of flour.
For the use of the Settlers on this river only to wit the knights[?] and others.
And the said Henry Harry[?] covenants and agrees that none of this provision is to be used or shall be used with his consent other than by the Settlers aforesaid and to complete his business unfinished last year and shall not be used in any new operations by him until the instructions of the Land Agent of this State relating to cutting timber this winter is received
