On motion of Mr Burr, Ordered, that the committee on interior fisheries be instructed to take into consideration the expediency of passing a general law for the preservation of fish in the several bays, rivers & streams, within this State, with leave to report by bill or otherwise - read and passed.

George W Wallingford Esq of Kennebunk appeared, was qualified and took his seat as a member of this House.
