received while on military duty - also of Moses Lowell for relief on account of sickness occasional by severe military services - came from the Senate referred to the Committee on applications from sick & wounded soldiers for concurrence - and the House concurred.

Message from the Governor, dated Jany 10th 1824. [see appendix page 225.] The message was read in the Senate and sent down - It was also read in the House.

[Juniors [?] Resolutions respecting Lands for Education]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the proceeding message as relates to a copy of a report and sundry resolutions of the State Juniors [?] on the subject of the claim originated by the State of Maryland, to grants of land from the United States for the purposes of Education and the accompanying documents to the joint committee of Literature & Literary Institutions - and the House concurred.

An order came from the Senate for concurrence referring so much of the preceding message of the Governor as relates to a resolution of the Legislature of the State of Georgia, expressing their opinion upon the subject of confirming the General Government in establishing Banks or other monied Institutions within the district of Columbia, & refusing [?] to concur in the amendment of the Constitution of the United States proposed by the State of Pennsylvania & the accompanying documents to the committee on Banks & Banking - and the House concurred.
