The House took up the consideration of the report on the Resolve increasing the Capital Stock of the Cumberland Bank agreeably to assignment - accepted the report and amended the Resolve as proposed by the Committee - Mr Sturdivant moved an amendment which did not prevail - then or motion the Resolve was indefinitely postponed.

Report - on the Committee of the town of Lewiston praying to be annexed to the County of Cumberland granting leave for a Bill, came from the Senate endorsed as follows " accepted & the further consideration of the subject referred to the next Legislature. The House concurred the Senate in accepting the report & nonconcurred them in referencing the subject to the next Legislature.
