Petition of John Wait that an arch may be erected at the West end of Prescempscot Bridge, was, read and referred to Messrs Cobb, Moulton, McKown, Bodwell, & Butterfield.

Ordered that the Senate be requested to send down to this House the bill authorizing the sale of the land reserved for the use of the first settled minister in the town on then last years file - read & passed.

Ordered that the committee who have under consideration the revision of the Law respecting the inspection of butter and lard, be instructed to enquire what alterations, if any are necessary in the inspection law regarding beef and pork - read & passed.
