Message from the Senate by Mr Smith, their Secretary, Mr Speaker, The Senate when they adjourn will adjourn to nine oclock tomorrow morning - and then he withdrew -

[Resolve - Josiah Hacker]

Resolve to authorize Josiah Hacker to practice as an attorney of the C C Pleas was read and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Lottery - Cumberland & Oxford Canal - ]

On motion of Mr Perley, Ordered, that the Senate be requested to send down the papers relative to the application for a Lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Corporation - read & passed.

Col. Fletcher & Doct. Smith had leave of absence granted them.

[Resolve - certain persons to practice as attorneys]

Message from the Senate by Mr Smith their Secretary, Mr Speaker, The Senate have amended the engrossed Resolve authorizing the C.C. Pleas & S.J. Court to admit certain persons to practice in said Courts respectively by inserting the name of Charles O Emerson after that of Daniel M Christie in the 4th line of the Resolve - The House concurred & the Clerk was charged with a message to acquaint the Senate therewith.
