I lay before the Legislature copies of the accounts of Samuel Call, Esquire, one of the Agents of thee Tribe of Indians for services performed in behalf of this State in fulfillment of the existing Treaty with said Tribe.

This account has been examined and allowed by the Council, agreeably to the provisions of the law under which said Agent was appointed, but cannot be paid until an appropriation shall have been made for that purpose by the Legislature.

The Governor of New Jersey having requested that the enclosed Resolution of the Legislature of that State may be laid before the Legislature of Maine, I communicate the same to the two branches, for their information. Albion K. Parris. Council Chamber February 7th 1825
