Resolve providing for the procurement of certain documents, was read twice & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

Report on petition of Athenaen Society of Bowdoin College to be incorporated granting a bill came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Bill - to incorp. Athenaean Society Bowdoin College]

Bill to incorporate the Athenaean Society of Bowdoin College was read a 1 & 2d time & tomorrow at 10 oclock assigned for a 3d reading.

[Resolve - location of Courts in York County]

Resolve relating to the location of the Courts in the County of York, which passed this House 28th inst, came from the Senate referred to the next Legislature for concurrence - and the House concurred.

[Resolve - jail in York]

Resolve relating to the erection of a jail in the County of York, was read & referred to Messrs Lewis, Parsons & Millikin

[Report - Cumberland & Oxford Canal Lottery]

Report & other papers relating to the application for a Lottery for the benefit of the Cumberland & Oxford Canal Company being sent from the Senate agreeably to request, were on motion referred to Messrs Abbot, Clap & Prentiss.

Petition of Benjamin J Porter for allowance for certain services as a Commissioner, was read & referred to Messrs Williams, Richardson & Twitchell.
