Adjutant General Sir as i am sick in this hospital and unfit for duty and destitute of clothing, it obliges me to send to you for my disseriptive list. i have applied to my regiment for it but cannot get it which if i had it i could get my pay and draw some clothing which i need very much. i was last paid the first sunday in August last. i belong to the 2nd Maine Regt. Co. [?] if you will send me
