Petition of Samuel W. McMahon for a Boom in Penobscot River - was read and referred to the Committee on Turnpikes Bridges and Canals in concurrence with the Senate - sent up -

An Order directing the Committee on the Judiciary to enquire into the expediency of revising the law relating to the Selection of Jurors - was read and accepted in concurrence with the Senate - sent up

On motion of Mr. Hubbard of N. Berwick Ordered that the Secretary of State be directed to transmit forthwith to the town clerk of the several towns in the county of York attested copies of a Resolve relating to the building a Gaol in the county of York - read and passed sent up for concurrence.

An Order directing the Committee on so much of the Governor's Message as relates to the Deaf and Dumb, to enquire whether any further and what appropriations in behalf of the Deaf & Dumb are are requisite - was read & passed in concurrence with the Senate, sent up -
