Bill - An Act in addition to an act entitled an act to incorporate the town of Naples passed March 4th 1834 was read a 3d time and passed to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

Remonstrance of Prentiss Mellen & others against the alteration of the charter of the City of Portland as prayed for in the petition of Thomas Todd & others, was read & referred to the committee on the Judiciary. Sent up for concurrence.

On motion of Mr Sabine of Eastport, Ordered, That the Secretary of State be requested to furnish the House with the returns of Blind persons in the State, as made to his office in the year 1834.

Resolve for making a road from Weeks Mills in Brighton to Moosehead Lake, was read a 3d time, when Mr. Holmes moved an amendment in the following words "Provided that the owners of the lands through which said Road is to be made, shall first convey to the State lands adjacent to said road equal to one fourth of a township of six miles square of the average value of the lands through, & on which said Road shall be made the conveyance to be made to the acceptance of the Land Agent" but before the question of agreeing to the amendment was taken, the House adjourned.
