On motion of Mr Jewett, Ordered, that the Committee on Manufactures be instructed to inquire into the expediency of an Act in addition to an Act in relation to Manufacturing Companies, making the private property of Stockholders in such Companies liable in all cases of deficiency of the Capital Stock to pay the Debts to an amount equal to their Stock.
