February, Saturday, 21. 1863 I was not on duty to day for I was sick with the Rhumatics and a very bad cold. did not do anything all day.
Sunday, 22. In Camp to day and a very unpleasant day it is too. it comm- enced snowing last night about 11 oclock and snowed the rest of the night and all day to day. there has fell over one foot of snow.
Monday,23 I was in Camp to day. the storm has cleared away, and the sun shines out warm, and the snow will soon go off again. I bought me a pair of boots to day.
