Bill to incorporate the Merry Meeting Bridge was read the second time. Mr. Purinton moved to amend said Bill by striking out in the 3d Sec. the words "seventy five" and insert in lieu thereof the words, one hundred; and the question of thus amending, being ordered to be taken by years and nays, was decided in the negative as follows, to wit. Yeas. Messrs. Brown, Clark, Fish, F. Greene, Latham, McIntire, Purinton and Smith, 8. Nays. Messrs.
