Legislature will so far have completed the business of the Session as to enable them to have a recess, with leave to report as soon as may be -- read and passed. Sent down for concurrence and Messrs Hobbs of Waterborough, Abbot of Vassalborough, Hodgman of Warren, Hyde of Bath and Woodman of Wilton are joined in concurrence.

On motion of Mr. Greene of York, Ordered, that a message be sent to the Governor, informing him that Benjamin Burgess of Lisbon was, on the 17th day of February, A.D. 1835 elected, by a concurrent vote of both branches of the Legislature, Major General of the fourth Division of the Militia of this State, and that Eliphalet D. Bray of Kingfield was, on the 18th day of February, A.D. 1835, elected by a concurrent vote of both branches of the Legislature, Major General of the eighth Division of the Militia of this State -- read and passed; -- and the said message was delivered by the Secretary.

The report of the Committee on the Judiciary that legislation is inexpedient on an order relative to the importation and emigration of foreign paupers (laid on the table yesterday) was taken up -- read and accepted, in concurrence.

Mr. Smith, from the Committee on Claims, to which was referred "Resolve relative to the Bond signed by Daniel Coney and others," reported that the same be referred to next Legislature -- read and recommitted with instructions to report a Resolve. Sent down for concurrence. Concurred.

On motion of Mr. Purinton, Ordered, that the time to which the Senate shall hereafter adjourn shall be till half past nine o'clock, in the morning
