I herewith Enclose the Discharge of Harrison Goding who was discharged by reason of a bad cough that settled on his lungs he is now quite feeble and unable to do anything -

I have to day heard that J.F. Hutchins a Deserter from the 1st Maine Cavalry is Somewhere in the Town of Turner and I think If I had Authority to arrest him I could do so -- he had been to Canada once and would probably go again did he mistrust that any one was after him
