Mrs. C. A. Gardner of this City formerly of South Danvers has a son Charles A. Gardner, Jr. private in one of your Regts, she thinks in 2d Maine & that be allotted part of his pay for her benefit. I do not know how to obtain the fact except through you. Will you do me the favor to examine
