Dear General Presson: - I have your letter and am answering it before I go to the Bowdoin Glee Club Concert to speak for K of C. our brother members.

I don't think there is any use of tajubf the work we did up with Bill. I think as I look back on it we earn too much [?] for work, and too little for publicity. I guess we'll have to let it go as it is. Those who urn in the work know what our work was. I think the people in our State know too. John B. Usher and "some fallen" like that couldn't see anything beyond Boston. Goodman U.S.R. knows what we did. How he will report it when he goes back to Governor Island, I don't know.

I'll ask "Addie" (Hayes) if you say so. I was wondering about how Lou Spaulding who is President of Maine Medical would do. He was very much interested, and wrote Mr. Foster (there's a good boy) a long letter "principally questions" as Tom Said, while we were there.

Our man whom [?] [?] on the trip down, Wilfred Hennesey of Bangor ought to be there. When I sized him up
