On motion by Mr Wells of Hallowell, Ordered, That the Committee on the Judiciary be instructed to report a Bill - authorizing all corporations hereafter established to sue & be sued by their corporate name - have a common seal, - make laws not inconsistent with law - and divide their corporate property into as many shares as they may deem expedient.
