The petition[underlined] of Bowdoin College for pecuniary relief — referred in the Senate to the committee on so much of the Governors Message as relates to the support + +encouragement of the Literary Institutions at Brunswick and Waterville, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.
Hancock Brook Canal Oxford County The petition of the Proprietors of Hancock Brook canal in the County of Oxford for an enlargement of their powers, referred in the Senate to the committee on Turnpikes, Bridges and Canal, came down for concurrence — and the House concurred.
Literary Institutions at Brunswick and Waterville. An order from the Senate referring so much of the Governors Message as relates to the Literary Institutions at Brunswick + Waterville to Messrs Leaver[?] + Bond with such as the House may join came down for concurrence — and the House concurred and Messrs Williams of Augusta, Clap of Portland and Seammon of Saco were joined.
