Petition of Thomas A Hill and als stockholders in the Bangor Bank for an amendment of the Charter of said bank - read & referred to the committee on Banks and Bankings - sent up for concurrence.

[election of Will Vance]

The Report of the committee on William Vance's election was called up and recommitted -

[Committee on doings of Land agents]

Ordered that the committee on the States Land be instructed to enquire into the doings of the several land agents and report to this House forthwith. Read & passed. Sent up for concurrence - this order came back from the Senate non concurred.

A communication was received from Elias Stowell Counselor elect, signifying his acceptance - read and sent up.

[Report on pet. Barret Potter]

The report of the committee on the petition of Barret Potter for authority to convey lands belonging to Elisabeth W. Chase a minor, giving leave to bring in a Resolve came down accepted for concurrence - and the House concurred.
