Major Stoddard having received an appointment in the service of the United States, by means whereof the office of Brigade-Major & Inspector to this Brigade has become vacant, Samuel Howard jun. Esquire of Augusta, is appointed Brigade-Major & Inspector, in his room & stead, and is to be obeyed & respected accordingly.
