[Committee - to fix permanently the pay of members &c &c]

On motion of Mr Chase,

Ordered, that Messrs Chase, Fuller & Mowry be a committee to enquire as to the expediency of providing by a permanent law for the compensation which shall be allowed the members of the Council, Senate and House of Representatives, and also of the Secretary of Senate and Clerk of the House of Representatives and their respective assistants. Read & passed.
