[Resolve finally passed]

The same committee reported as duly engrossed - Resolve - to correct the State valuation, which was finally passed. Sent up for concurrence

[Bill - public lands -]

Bill to promote the sale & settlement of the public lands, was read a 3d time and passed as in a new draft to be engrossed. Sent up for concurrence.

[Report on Ohio Resolutions]

The committee to whom was referred the Governors Message of February 14 1824 laying before the Legislature a copy of Resolutions, recently passed by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, relative to adopting a system by which the entire emancipation of the Slaves in our Country may be effected without any violation of the national compact or infringement of the rights of individuals, reported that the subject ought to be referred to the consideration of the next Legislature. The report accepted in Senate came down for concurrence & the House concurred.

[Committee discharged - on Tennessee Resolutions]

Ordered that the joint committee on the part of the House on the Tennessee Resolutions & the Governors Message, communicating the same, be discharged, and that a message be sent to the Senate acquainting that body therewith - read & passed.
