Bill additional to an act for the prevention of Lotteries not authorized by law, and to prohibit the sale or purchase of tickets in this State, was Read a 3d time & passed to be engrossed as amended at K. Sent up for concurrence.

[Resolve - claims assigned by Masstt to Maine -]

Resolve respecting claims assigned to this State by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, was read 1st a 2d time & passed to be engrossed in concurrence with the Senate.

[Notice to Governor of the election of Joseph C Boyd Esq as Treasurer.]

An order came from the Senate for concurrence, directing the Secretary of State to notify the Governor that Joseph C Boyd has been duly elected Treasurer of this State; that he has signified his acceptance and given bond, to the State with sureties, to the satisfaction of the Legislature - and the House concurred.
